From Preventive to Predictive Maintenance

There are 3 kinds of Maintenance.

1. Run to Break Down maintenance (Running the machines until it’s broken, and then change the machine by the new one)

2. Preventive Maintenance (The maintenance is held regularly, example : once in three months. Preventive Maintenance doesn’t consider whether the machine is needed to be repaired or not)

3. Predictive Maintenance (PdM) (The maintenance will be done if and only if it is needed, PdM uses Vibration Analysis). It is very useful because we don’t need to repair it if the machine is still in good condition. That video above tell you in detail what the PdM is.
